Dreaming of having a tiny waist?
We all know exercise is one effective way to cut down extra fats. But sometimes, we can simply get a little lazy.
Here’s a little known secret — I’ve actually maintained my weight for the most part without any jogging or any curl-ups.
So I absolutely know how to get a slim waist without exercise.
Excited to learn more?
Read on to discover the secrets to having a tiny waist — all without having to break a single sweat.
Looks like this hack is really the lazy man’s way to a slimmer waist.
But, of course!
Did you know that losing sleep makes you at risk of obesity?
A study published in the journal Environmental Health Perspectives discusses how a lack of sleep can cause weight gain.
You see, when you skip several hours of sleep, you’ll eventually throw off your metabolism.
And a slow metabolism means you’ll burn fewer calories while at rest!
Also, any extra fats you gain will stay there — unless you exercise.
That, of course, is something we don’t wanna do here.
Get enough sleep, and...
Even your sleep schedule matters.
The issue isn’t just about the number of hours you sleep — although this truly matters as you would read further on.
The secret to keeping your metabolism healthy lies in your circadian rhythm.
Disrupt that rhythm, and you’ll put yourself at risk of getting obese.
So be very sure to stick to a sleep schedule.
Now for the number of hours…
It has to be no less than eight hours a night
If you need a thorough discussion on the number of hours you should sleep, I think you should read this.
That’s not our article, but I absolutely found it fascinating.
From there, I discovered how even seven hours of sleep wouldn’t cut it!
According to Matthew Walker, professor at the University of California, Berkeley, and director of sleep and neuroimaging lab:
“...so many people fool themselves into thinking they are one of those people who can get away with six hours of sleep or less.”
And seven hours of shut-eye — although seemingly long already — still makes people go drowsy during day time.
People who were part of the lab’s experiment even suffered cognitive decline when they lacked just one hour of sleep!
Okay, so…how’s that related to having a tiny waist?
Well, that part wasn’t discussed in the article or in the experiment.
It’s just that, for me, if you don’t feel groggy during the day, you won’t be as mindless.
And if you’re being mindful, you’ll likely be more disciplined.
Disciplined — in terms of your goals — and that definitely includes having a slimmer waist.
But here’s the real deal.
Without enough sleep, your body will produce more of the stress hormone called cortisol.
Cortisol then tells your body to save your energy.
Know what that means?
It means your body will eventually hug your fats. It won’t shed those extra pounds off!
So, the point is simple.
Make it a goal to get 8 hours of sleep every night. Yup, including the weekends.
Are you kidding me?
Yep, I can hear you asking.
But man, you should really take a bath — whether it’s for a slimmer waist or whatnot.
Now, what I actually mean here isn’t just some ordinary bath.
Does it sound crazy?
Here’s the trick.
Dump two cups full of Epsom salts into your tub of water.
Then take time to chill in there.
It draws away excess water from your tummy. That means it can reduce bloating!
Add Epsom salts to your bath. It’s one of the easiest tricks to make your belly look flatter.
I think you already know the logic behind this trick.
When you sit or stand up straight, you’re actually toning your muscles — your tummy muscles included.
“But” — you say — “I’ve been so used to slouching now. How could I maintain good posture?”
Well, it’s actually easy. You just have to set-up reminders.
Do you find yourself being in front of the computer or even staring at your smartphone more often these days?
We’re just the same.
So I kind of remind myself to watch my posture using a post-it note.
I could accidentally glance at it once in a while — and then I’d sit up straight.
Sit up straight whenever you’re at your desk. It will help you engage and tone your tummy muscles.
If you have no idea how to sit upright, here are a few simple guidelines:
Yup, it’s that simple.
What are you supposed to drink the moment you wake up in the morning?
Well, if you want to have a tiny waist, the secret is warm water with a few drops of lemon.
One of the wonders of warm lemon water is that it can reduce inflammation in your gut.
And so if you feel bloated, you now know what to do.
If you want to make it even more effective, you can also add some ginger.
Just let the ginger soak for a while before you take a sip.
Drink a glass of lemon water first thing in the morning. Make it a regular habit, and you’ll soon get rid of a bloated tummy!
Oh, the healing wonders of going vegan!
But wait — be sure you go whole-foods plant-based (WFPB) vegan.
Because that, my friend, will make your body whole again.
From my experience, going vegan is the way to go.
Even if you don’t exercise a lot like me, you won’t earn those extra fats.
Of course, your eating schedule and habits still matter — and this is something we’ll discuss in the next hack.
For now, suffice it to say that when you’re eating fiber-rich foods, you’ll be able to control your portions so much more easily.
Plus, it’s gonna be easier for your digestive system.
And when you’re digesting your food well, the restroom’s gonna be your friend.
A flatter belly. Each day!
Craving for this Buddha bowl? It’s vegan.
Why, oh why? — You ask.
The short answer is for you to prevent bloating.
You see, when you don’t chew your food well, it’s gonna be harder for the rest of your digestive system to work.
In short, it takes so much more effort to digest the food in your tummy.
Take at least 30 minutes to up to one hour to finish your food.
This slow process of ingestion allows you to masticate (i.e., chew) your food well.
They’d say you should chew your food 32 times before swallowing it.
I still have to do personal research on that part, but at least one study seems to be supporting the logic behind the ‘chew-many-more-times’ principle.
In a study published in the Journal, Physiology & Behavior, researchers have observed the following.
“...there was a tendency that individuals of the obese group swallowed larger particles.”
If anything, this observation simply says you should:
Enjoy your food, consume it slowly, and your tummy will enjoy it, too.
If you don’t enjoy your meals, you’ll take the food in a hurry.
Or, you could eat too much. And then you’ll grow hungry too soon.
You’re likely going to snack.
And that’s gonna hurt your digestive process.
Remember this. When you’re eating, you need to be in a state of relaxation.
Don’t let your stress take over as you eat. Stress will only make it more difficult for you to chew.
By extension, it’ll also be more challenging for your tummy to digest what you have swallowed.
And worse, the whole thing gives you a bloated tummy.
Finally, the biggest (almost unknown) culprit of bloating — it’s chewing gum.
When I talked about chewing well, that doesn’t mean you should be chewing on something all throughout the day.
Doing so will keep your tummy secreting digestive juices. It will hurt your gastrointestinal tract!
But — that’s exactly what you’re doing when you’re chewing gum.
No matter what you say — if a flatter belly is what you want — then you have to stop munching on that gum and throw it away.
Of course, chewing some gum while you’re on the street, sporting your favorite Brute Impact pair of jeans and hoodie — well, this looks kinda cool.
I know. Even your mouth feels so constantly refreshed when you have that gum on.
But, it can also look quite nasty.
Not just to your tummy, but also in terms of hygiene.
The fact is, when you keep a gum all day, you’ll soon harbor bad mouth bacteria.
Not the greatest thing, for sure.
So you have to keep that gum away.
I bet there are many other, better ways to look and feel admirable.
It doesn’t always have to be like this photo below.
I love how this girl looks so hippie. And you could imitate her fashion style! But, if you really wanna trim down on your waist area, it’s time to stop chewing that gum.
Having a slimmer waist allows you to pull off a pair of streetwear like the ones in the photo below.
And here's a plus.
If you maintain a slimmer waist, you'll even have the chance to make Brute Impact's ultimate streetwear look more stunning on you!
By following the 7 simple hacks we’ve listed above, it’s not impossible for you to achieve a smaller waist in just 14 days.
So why not take it up as a challenge?
